The origin of ball pen started with an invention when ink was filled in a tiny tube and its end blocked with a tiny ball. The product was held in such a way that the ball could not slip inside the tube. This incident took place around the latter part of the 19th century and later progressed when John L. Loud on October 1888 took the first patent for the product.
